Bio Therapeutic Sounds with Imka
Art & Wellness Club

Welcome to the Art & Wellness Club
Led by local and national wellness teachers, join us for free 30-minute online meditations. Inspired by an artwork from the collection, each session focuses on a different mindfulness practice and includes a Spotlight Talk by a Phillips Educator about the artwork.
Join Imka, founder of Evidence of Yesterday, a creative studio and record label, for an immersive soundscape based on the bioelectrical signals of living plants. Drawing inspiration from Woods in Summer by Pierre Bonnard, this performance blends art, nature, and sound technology to create a meditative experience. The event begins with a Spotlight Talk on Bonnard’s work led by a Phillips Educator.
What are bioelectrical signals of living plants? Bioelectrical signals in plants are electrical potential differences across cell membranes, created by the flow of ions, that allow plants to communicate and respond to their environment.
